It’s election season, which means you’re likely getting bombarded with ads from different candidates everywhere you turn. And it can be a lot to cut through the noise and make a decision about whom to support! But that’s why we’re here! We spent the summer and fall talking to candidates across the state and have made some endorsements based on who we think will do the most to make real change to support our families. (You can see all our endorsements here.)
Every cycle we pick a few candidates that we are most excited about – and do even more than endorse them. We get out and talk to voters about them, we contribute to their campaigns, and we tell YOU why we love them. Two of these candidates this year are Janelle Bynum (HD 51 East Portland and parts of Clackamas County) and Teresa Alonso Leon (HD 22, Woodburn and NE Salem).
We NEED these two amazing women to be in our legislature next year.
Both of them are in very close races and we know the more conversations we have with voters, the greater the chances are that they will win! That’s why we’re asking you to come out and show your support for Janelle Bynum and Teresa Alonso Leon on Saturday, October 29th at our Mother PAC canvass! Let’s give these women the support they need to win on November 8th.

Never canvassed before or haven’t done it in a while? Not to worry! The first time is always the most intimidating, that’s why we’ll be doing a brief training right before we head out. And you can always bring a friend to go out with you.
